Motorola just launched its 2025 Razr lineup—the Razr, Razr+, and Razr Ultra—with big upgrades in durability, design, and AI. While the foldable phones look sleek, the real star is Moto AI, a smart assistant powered by Meta’s Llama and other AI tools. Plus, Google Gemini and Perplexity AI come preinstalled, making these tiny powerhouses packed with tech.

Razr Phones Sleeker Design, Tougher Build

First, Motorola boosted durability with titanium hinges, claiming four times more strength than last year’s models. Next, the Razr Ultra features Gorilla Glass Ceramic for better drop resistance, while the Razr+ and base Razr stick with Victus. Additionally, Motorola ditched boring colors—now, you can get wood, Alcantara, or leather-like finishes.

The Razr Ultra also has the biggest external screen (4 inches) and the largest internal display (7 inches) in the lineup. Meanwhile, the Razr+ keeps its telephoto camera, but the Ultra swaps it for an ultrawide—perfect for group shots.

AI Everywhere: Smarter Photos, Smarter Assistants

Motorola didn’t hold back on AI. First, the Razr Ultra gets a dedicated AI button for quick access to Moto AI. Then, features like Catch Me Up (summarizes notifications) and Remember This (saves info for later) make daily tasks easier. Even photos get an AI boost—Signature Style tweaks colors, and Group Shot fixes blinking eyes in pics.

Beyond phones, Motorola unveiled Moto Buds Loop (open-ear earbuds with Bose sound and Swarovski bling) and a basic Watch Fit with 16-day battery life.

Bottom Line: Preorders start May 7, with sales kicking off May 15. If you want a foldable that’s tough, stylish, and stuffed with AI, the new Razr Phones might be your pick.
