Microsoft just added a cool new feature to its Bing app – a free AI video tool called Bing Video Creator. It uses OpenAI’s Sora technology, which normally costs money if you use it through ChatGPT. Now, anyone with the Bing app can try it for free!
How It Works on Microsoft
Open the Bing app on your phone (Android or iPhone).
Tap the menu button in the bottom-right corner OR type what you want your video to show in the search bar.
Choose between “Standard” (free but slower) or “Fast” (quick but limited).
Wait for your video to generate (you can make up to 3 at a time).
What You Get
5-second videos (vertical format for now, widescreen coming later).
10 free “Fast” generations (after that, you can earn more with Microsoft Rewards).
Videos stay in the app for 90 days – download or share them anytime.
Is It Perfect?
Not yet. Some test videos (like a hamster sweeping or an otter cooking) look a little cartoonish or glitchy. But it’s still impressive for a free tool!
Who Can Use It?
Available worldwide (except China & Russia).
Coming soon to Bing on computers and Copilot Search.
Microsoft says this is just the start – they want to make AI creativity easy for everyone. Will you try making your own AI videos?
