Vladimir Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke strongly against recent attacks on Iran. He called the attacks unfair and wrong. Putin said these actions had no good reason. He met with Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi in Moscow to discuss the situation.

Putin told Araghchi that Russia and Iran have been friends for many years. He said Russia will keep supporting Iran during this difficult time. Russia has already shared its views at the United Nations about this conflict.

Iran’s foreign minister said his country and Russia work closely together. They cooperate on important matters, including Iran’s nuclear energy program. Both countries want to keep this strong relationship.

Earlier, Russia’s government criticized the missile attacks on Iran. They said attacking another country breaks international laws. Russia asked the United Nations to stop the fighting. They want America and Israel to avoid more violence and talk instead.

Iran’s leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei promised to fight back after the attacks. He called Israel’s actions a “big crime.” Khamenei said Iran will punish Israel for these attacks. He warned that Iran’s response has already begun.

The fighting started when Israel bombed Iran on June 13. The bombs hit nuclear sites and military areas. Many important officials and scientists died in these attacks. Normal citizens also got hurt.

Iran then attacked Israel with missiles and drones. So far, over 400 people died in Iran. More than 3,500 people got injured. In Israel, 24 people lost their lives. The violence continued when an Israeli drone killed three people in an ambulance in Iran’s Isfahan province.

Putin’s words show Russia stands with Iran. The situation remains dangerous as both sides keep attacking each other. Many people hope the fighting will stop soon before more innocent lives are lost.
