Party Happens After Sad Crash:
On June 20, 2025, AISATS bosses had a DJ party in Gurugram. They danced and had fun, but this was only eight days after Air India Flight AI171 crashed in Ahmedabad. That crash killed 241 people on the plane and some on the ground. People got really upset about the party.
A video of the party went viral on social media. It showed bosses dancing. And families of crash victims saw it. They felt hurt and angry.
Who Was at the Party?
Big bosses were at the party. The top guy ‘Sampreet Kotian’ from Bengaluru’s airport, was there. Also, AISATS’ Chief Operating Officer Abraham Zakaria and their money boss were there. All important people were dancing and this made people even madder.
What Is AISATS?
AISATS is a company that helps at airports. They handle bags and plane papers. It’s owned half by Air India and half by SATS, a company from Singapore. AISATS helped with the crashed plane in Delhi and its papers for the Ahmedabad to London trip so ultimately they’re a big part of the story.
Terrible Plane Crash:
On June 12, 2025, Air India Flight AI171 crashed in Ahmedabad while it was going to London, but right after takeoff, the plane’s engines failed and fell into a busy area and hit a doctors’ hostel, it caught immediate fire right after the crash.
The crash killed 241 people on the plane. 151 were from India, 34 from Britain, seven from Portugal, and one from Canada. Also, nine people on the ground died. It was a huge and sad event.
Why People Are So Mad:
The party happened when families were still crying. Many were waiting to get their loved ones’ bodies. By June 20, only 202 of 220 found bodies were given to families. Also, some bodies needed DNA tests to know who they were. The party seemed mean and rude to the world.
People said the AISATS bosses showed no care. They danced while others were sad. And this made everyone super angry.
What AISATS Said:
An AISATS worker said sorry. They said, “We know about the video. It’s not what it looks like. We’re sorry if it hurt anyone.” But people didn’t like the apology. They thought it wasn’t enough. So, they’re still mad.
What’s Happening Now:
Gujarat’s government and rescue teams are still working. They’re trying to find out who the last bodies are. Also, they’re using DNA tests. And forensic teams are helping. It’s not a easy job to finish as everyone expected.
People want AISATS to do better. They want bosses to show respect. Also, they want answers about the crash.
