The men’s team had just lost a tight match to England by 22 runs. This win gave England a 2-1 lead in the five-Test series. Meanwhile, the women’s team made history by winning their first T20I series in England. They are now preparing for a three-match ODI series starting Wednesday.
Men’s captain Shubman Gill led the group. Vice-captain Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, and coach Gautam Gambhir were also there. The players dressed formally and smiled as they met the King. King Charles chatted with them for a few minutes. They laughed, greeted each other, and enjoyed the special moment.

The Lord’s Test was full of drama. India needed 193 runs to win but got all out for 170. Ravindra Jadeja batted bravely and scored a fifty. He partnered with Nitish Reddy, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammed Siraj to keep India in the game. But England’s Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer took quick wickets early in the day, turning the match around.
