On July 20, 2025, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) got mad at Rahul Gandhi, the main opposition leader in the Lok Sabha. He asked the government to explain US President Donald Trump’s comment about five jets being shot down during India’s Operation Sindoor. The BJP called Rahul a “star campaigner” for Pakistan, saying he’s hurting the Indian army’s bravery and spreading Pakistan’s story.

Rahul posted a video of Trump’s comment on X on July 19, saying in Hindi, “Modi ji, what’s the truth about the five jets? India wants to know.” Trump said this at a dinner on July 18 but didn’t say if the jets were Indian or Pakistani, making things confusing.

Rahul asking about jets? The BJP’s super upset!

BJP’s Angry Response

BJP leaders fought back. MP Praveen Khandelwal said, “Congress always doubts our army’s courage. This is Modi’s India—he makes strong choices. No one can push us around.” He said Rahul’s post makes the army look bad.

BJP leader Tarun Chugh said Rahul and Congress boss Mallikarjun Kharge act like they’re helping Pakistan’s army and media. “They just spread lies. They’re acting against India,” he said.

JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha added, “Rahul’s words make our army feel bad. His party knew about Operation Sindoor, and the army explained it. Why’s he against India while fighting Modi?”

BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal said Rahul did this before, like questioning the Pulwama attack. “He ate with China’s ambassador during the Galwan fight and went to a wedding linked to George Soros, who doesn’t like India. Rahul’s not patriotic.”

The BJP’s really mad! They’re saying Rahul’s hurting India big time.

What’s Operation Sindoor?

Operation Sindoor was India’s army fighting back after a terror attack in Pahalgam in April 2025. The army did a great job, but Trump’s comment about five jets confused everyone since he didn’t say whose jets. The army explained what happened, and Congress was part of the talks, but Rahul’s question made the BJP angry.

Trump’s jet talk stirred up a big mess! Why didn’t he say whose jets?

Why BJP’s So Mad

The BJP says Rahul’s post makes India’s army look weak and helps Pakistan’s lies. They think he’s trying to make PM Modi look bad but ends up hurting India. Chugh said Congress’s lies are why they lose elections. Jaiswal said Rahul’s meetings with people who don’t like India show he doesn’t care about the country.

An X post from @ANI said, “Rahul Gandhi’s words sound like Pakistan’s, not India’s!” The BJP wants Rahul to stop doubting the army and support India.

Rahul’s post is causing a huge fight! The BJP’s not letting this go.

Why This Is a Big Deal

This argument shows how much BJP and Congress don’t get along. Rahul asking about Trump’s jet comment has turned into a big fight about loving India and respecting the army. Operation Sindoor was a proud moment for India, but Trump’s unclear words and Rahul’s post made it a problem. The BJP’s strong words might fire up their fans but make things worse with Congress. With millions of people in India watching, this matters a lot. What do you think about this Rahul-BJP fight? Tell me!
