On July 4, 2025, Sony Pictures Entertainment India shared super cool news: Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will come to Indian movie theaters on October 31, 2025! They posted on Instagram, “Get ready! Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is coming to cinemas only on 31 October 2025.” This action-packed animated movie is based on a super popular comic (manga) by Tatsuki Fujimoto. It’s directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and will first show in Japan on September 19, 2025, then start going worldwide on September 24, with the U.S. getting it on October 29.
OMG, Chainsaw Man in Indian theaters? That’s so exciting! I’m counting down the days to October 31!
What’s the Story About?
The movie is about Denji, a guy who worked as a Devil Hunter for the Yakuza (a kind of bad guy group) to pay off his parents’ debts. The Yakuza turned on him and got him killed, but his awesome chainsaw-powered devil dog, Pochita, made a deal to save him. Pochita mixed with Denji, turning him into Chainsaw Man, a super tough guy with a devil’s heart. In this movie, Denji meets Reze, a mysterious girl who works at a café, after going on a date with Makima, a girl he really likes. This leads to his biggest, scariest fight yet in a craz* world full of devils, hunters, and secret enemies.
Denji meeting Reze? That sounds like such a wild story! I’m so ready for all the craz& fights and drama.
Cool Trailer and Music
The movie makers shared a new trailer that’s got everyone super excited! It shows epic fight scenes and Denji’s big dreams, with a cool theme song called “IRIS OUT” by Kenshi Yonezu. If you don’t know, Yonezu also made the awesome opening song “Kick Back” for the Chainsaw Man TV show. The trailer gives a peek at the wild battles and the big feelings in the Reze Arc, which fans of the comic love so much.
That trailer with Yonezu’s song? It’s so awesome! I’ve watched it a bunch of times, and it makes me so hyped for the movie!
Amazing Voice Actors
The movie is made by MAPPA, a studio that makes awesome animations. It has the same voice actors from the Chainsaw Man TV show, plus some new ones:
-
Kikunosuke Toya as Denji, the main guy.
-
Shiori Izawa as Pochita, his devil dog.
-
Tomori Kusunoki as Makima, the girl Denji likes.
-
Shogo Sakata as Aki, a tough hunter.
-
Fairouz Ai as Power, a fiery devil.
-
Karin Takahashi as Kobeni, a nervous hunter.
-
Natsuki Hanae as Beam, a shark devil.
-
Yuuya Uchida as The Violence Fiend.
-
Maaya Uchida as Angel Devil.
-
Reina Ueda as Reze, the new girl. New voices include Hidenori Takahashi as a Public Safety Devil Hunter, Kenji Akabane as Nomo, Kenji Nomura as a guy chasing Denji, and Eri Kitamura as the Typhoon Devil.
So many great voices! Reina Ueda as Reze sounds perfect, and those new characters are gonna make the movie even crazei**.
Part of a Big Anime World
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc continues the story from the Chainsaw Man TV show, which started in 2022 on Crunchyroll with 12 episodes. The show, based on Fujimoto’s comic that ran from 2018 to 2021 (with a second part starting in 2022), is a huge hit because of its wild action and dark story. Instead of making a second season right away, MAPPA decided to turn the Reze Arc into a big movie, and fans are loving it. Sony Pictures got the rights to show it in theaters in over 80 countries, including India!
A movie instead of a new season? That’s such a cool idea! I’m so happy India’s getting it on the big screen.
Why This Is So Exciting
This movie is a huge deal for Chainsaw Man fans in India, where anime movies don’t always come to theaters. The Reze Arc is a favorite part of the comic, with tons of action and big emotions. MAPPA’s awesome animation, Kenshi Yonezu’s music, and a great cast make it a must-see. The October 31 release means Indian fans can watch Denji’s epic fights on the big screen just a couple of days after the U.S. and U.K. get it on October 29. This is a big win for anime lovers in India, and it’s gonna be an unforgettable experience!
I’m so excited for this! Chainsaw Man in theaters in India? It’s gonna be so epic. Are you gonna watch it on October 31? Tell me what you think!
