Actor and Member of Parliament Kamal Haasan praised fellow actor Suriya and his Agaram Foundation for the positive work they’ve done in the field of education. Kamal said that Suriya and his team have started a quiet but powerful change by helping children chase their dreams, one at a time.

Kamal recently became a member of the Rajya Sabha and shared a heartfelt message after attending the 15-year celebration of the Agaram Foundation. He said he was deeply moved by what he saw. He pointed out that many people who received support from the foundation have now become doctors, inventors, and leaders. He added that their success is not just personal—it shows what education can do when it is supported by kindness and a desire to help others.

“You and your team have begun a silent revolution,” Kamal said to Suriya. “You are shaping a better future by helping one child at a time. What you are doing cannot be measured just by numbers. The real value lies in the long-term changes your work is bringing.”

He added that each child helped by the Agaram Foundation has the power to help others in return. They can guide their communities, support their families, and inspire many more. These children now have a chance to move beyond just surviving—they are learning to live with dignity, ambition, and confidence.

Kamal praised the foundation for giving these children the strength to dream big and chase better lives. He said Agaram’s work proves that education, when placed in the right hands, can break down old social barriers based on birth and poverty. “You’ve helped them find purpose and pride,” he added.

He also spoke about how Suriya’s family has given back to Tamil Nadu with grace. He said that while Suriya is well-known for his success in films, his real impact might be even greater off-screen. Kamal said he believes people will remember Suriya not just as a star, but as someone who changed lives quietly and meaningfully. He ended by saying that the good done by Agaram Foundation will shine through the lives of the many people it has helped—and in the generations to come.
